FREQUENTLY ASKED BILLING QUESTIONS


Q:  Why am I receiving statements for my entire yearly membership fee when in the past I have been charged monthly?


A:  With our new system we must first generate an invoice with the yearly fee. 

You can either pay the full yearly amount through the portal OR if you wish to stay on the monthly payment plan just ignore this initial statement and your credit card will be billed monthly as in the past.  Once your monthly payments have begun you will no long receive statements for the membership fee.


Q:  Why do I keep receiving the same statement  when you have my credit card on file?


A:  Your credit card has probably expired.  If this is the case, please give us a call to update your credit card information.


Q:  I’m wondering why I am receiving an email link from the Patient Portal to pay an outstanding balance when you have my credit care on file.   


A:  If you have a credit card on file with us you can ignore the statement and we will charge your CC on file.  If we do not have a credit card on file for you please call us with your credit card information or send a check. 


Q:  What if I believe that my balance on the Patient Portal is incorrect?


A:  If you think either the insurance company or we made a mistake give us a call or email us at billing@pediatricalternatives.com so that we can work it out for you.
