What is The Secret Garden?
The Secret Garden is an educational program for parents designed to give you the information you need to oversee your family’s health with confidence. Parenting requires a body of knowledge that was once passed on by our parents and grandparents. Our innovative series of classes, discussion groups and lectures is designed to complement the personalized medical care we provide at Pediatric Alternatives.

Why must I join The Secret Garden to be part of your practice? Faced with rising overhead and declining insurance payments, we have come to realize that we need additional operating revenue to practice time-intensive integrative pediatrics. As a result, in 2007 we developed The Secret Garden program. In an attempt to bring integrative pediatric care to as many families as possible, we have chosen to be providers of major health insurance plans rather than “fee for service.” Your participation in The Secret Garden allows us to schedule longer appointment times and also provide you with our excellent educational program.
What if my family cannot afford The Secret Garden?
If the membership fee is difficult for your family, we provide payment plans. We feel strongly about our approach and we want your family to have the opportunity to be part of our community. Give us a call at 415-380-8448.
